This painting was made in 2015 with acrylics, spray-paint, crayons and colour pencils on thick moss brown fabric.

As the title explains the theme is about containment. Internal power that wants out, that wants freedom but it is framed and contained. The containment also gives focus and power for growth. Since the energy will stay focussed not spread it self everywhere in this way.

The painting was first made on the loose fabric. After the painting was painted I made the decision to make a frame and stretch the fabric onto it. Defining the square even more by making a canvas that was framing and containing the painting even more.
