This photo series was based on 2 paintings. I discussed them and their meanings with the model, dancer and choreographer Kelsie Steil and asked her to work with them together with me through dance and modelling. She worked with them while the paintings were projected on a background and her body. 

Introspection is about turning, feeling and looking inwards in oneself.

The painting of the white figure was made back in 2015.

The aim was to express myself as simple as I could at that moment.  The expression came to form as this abstract white figure that was made with only white paint and one hand on wooden board. 

Then when I met Kelsie I found out I wanted to work with her and the themes of those two paintings, revisiting the theme through modelling/dance and photography.
